Quality Systems and Procedures

P&R is committed to providing a high-quality, cost-competitive product to meet OEM customers demanding needs. P&R continuously strives to provide customers with zero-defect product, through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and a commitment to detail. P&R has developed systems and procedures which ensure that quality is built into every stage of the process from order receipt, through manufacturing, inventory control, shipping and billing. Since P&R first received its ISO9002 and QS9000 certifications in 1997, P&R has focused on continuously upgrading and improving its systems to assure that it meets or exceeds customers’ expectations.

As a result of this commitment to quality, P&R has received numerous Customer Awards, 100% Customer Satisfaction Ratings for Product Quality and On-Time Delivery, and 3rd party accreditations.

Today, P&R rigorously maintains its quality systems in accordance with its ISO 9001:2015 and IATF16949 policies and procedures.

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) – P&R engineers work closely with customers to identify the most cost-effective process to manufacture product. P&R will then identify opportunities for improvements through a design-for-manufacturability review.

Part Validation Process – P&R then carefully reviews the manufacturing process to ensure that processes are established to provide a consistent, high-quality product.

  • Results certified by A2LA Laboratories per ISO/IEC 17025
  • GM GP12 Guidelines established to assure initial quality

Product Quality – P&R performs rigorous destructive and non-destructive inspection and testing at its in-house facilities, as well as through 3rd party A2LA accredited laboratories. P&R also verifies product with the following lab equipment.
